In Greece, a new digital service is being introduced that will revolutionize how property owners manage and access information about their real estate. Through a digital wallet on the Gov.gr platform, property owners will soon be able to view comprehensive details about their properties, including area, perimeter, and land use, similar to how they can currently access other important documents like ID cards and driver’s licenses.
This new system aims to streamline property-related processes by providing a unified, easily accessible digital record of each property. It will allow property owners, as well as professionals like notaries and lawyers, to quickly access and share property information without the need for extensive cross-checking or verification.
The service will be available through a user-friendly interface on both computers and mobile devices, making it more convenient for users. It will also integrate with the national cadastre, allowing users to view plot boundaries and cadastral codes on a digital map. This advancement is expected to simplify property transactions and improve transparency in real estate management across Greece.
